Image tools shouldn't need your images
Rupaa started with a simple frustration: why does resizing a photo require uploading it to a stranger's server?
Modern browsers are extraordinary machines. They can decode, transform and re-encode images faster than most upload connections can move them. So we built the whole toolbox to run where your files already are — on your device. No upload progress bars, no privacy policies about "your content", no waiting.
That architecture is also why the tools are free: local processing costs us almost nothing to serve, so there's no meter running while you work.
